The purpose of the Jacksonville Museum of Military History is to foster an appreciation for the men and women who served our country and to ensure that the freedoms we enjoy are not taken for granted. It is also to educate the public on the important military and home front role played by our Community and the men and women of the armed services.
The Museum is located in the site which, in World War II was the location of the administration building of the Jacksonville Ordnance Plant. This site now has 4,500 square feet building, with an additional 10,000 square foot area of new construction behind it.
