Memorial Highlands Ranch War on Terror

This special monument commemorates the 3 fallen soldiers of Highlands Ranch in the War on Terror:
• Staff Sargent C Falkel who was killed in action on August 8, 2005 in Afghanistan during a mission with ODA 316.
• Sargent J. Stiles, killed in action on November 13, 2008 when an IED exploded next to his vehicle
• Corporal M. Donahue, died of his wound on August 6, 2010, after an IED exploded next to him and his dog.

In their memory, Highlands Ranch also named 3 streets after them.
