Memorial Beguinage Church Mechelen

This baroque church of Saint Alexius and Catherine was part of the beguinage of Mechelen.
The monumental church portal has a beautifully sculpted door with the image of the two patron saints Alexius and Catherine in a kind of medallion.
Between the two hangs very inconspicuously a small plaque with the names of the fallen soldiers of the First World War.
