Memorials St. John's Church - Mechelen

At the back of the church is a memento for the victims of the First World War.
"Pray for our brave soldiers
1914 - 1915"
Below that are the names of the soldiers and volunteers.
At the bottom is the coat of arms of Belgium with the motto "Unity makes power".

On the left is a wooden statue of St. John, patron saint of the church.
The pedestal contains the names of the soldiers and deportees who died in Germany in alphabetical order.
