War Memorial Anhée

Opposite the church is the war memorial for the two world wars.
"Anhee
To his children
died for the country"

It is a design by architect Dony, it was made by sculptor Warolus.
It is an obelisk in blue stone topped by a cross.
A flag is engraved on the front. In the medallions on the pedestal, the names of the dead from 1914 to 1918 are engraved in blue stone, the names of the dead from 1940 to 1945 are engraved on the sides on bronze plaques.
