War Monument Altena Franco/Prussian War

At this location, above the Altena stand, several monuments have been erected in memory of the victims of the wars. This memorial commemorates the victims of the French/German War in 1870-1871. The monument consists of several memorial stones, placed on a structure. There is also a memorial stone for the fallen in the wars of 1864 and 1866.
