Memorial Cross Bettenhoven

Against St. Pankratius church in Bettenhoven stands this memorial cross that contains two names of fallen soldiers from World War I. The two names also appear on the War Memorial Höllen. They are:
Jos Hürtgen, born on April 13, 1893 and killed in Russia on June 3, 1915
Jos Bücker, born on January 27, 1890 and killed near Verdun on March 10, 1916
