On September 27, 2015, a marble memorial stone with a bronze laurel wreath and bronze photo frames was placed on a terrace on the street side, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation.
It commemorates the Italian soldiers who died during the Second World War
It is also a tribute to artillery captain Guido Malaspina Estense and his soldiers of the XXX Artillery Group who operated from 1940 to 1942 and who died on the Russian front in the winter of 1942.
Guido Malaspina, linked to this community by emotional and professional ties, was descended from one of the oldest and noblest Italian families. He dedicated his entire life to the defense of his country to the point of sacrificing his life.
