War Memorial Marenne

There are two memorial plaques for the two world wars on the facade of the Sint-Elooi church.

Left:
"Municipality of Marenne
Grateful to his heroes
1914-1918" followed by the names of his fighters and deportees.

Right:
"1940-1945
To his glorious soldiers
fallen on the field of honor.
To his prisoners, deportees,
resistance fighters,
and victims of the exodus
or compulsory labor.
The municipality of Marenne
Gratefully"
