Magdeburg Barracks Theresienstadt

This former army barracks housed the Jewish council of the Theresienstadt ghetto during World War II. This council was charged by the Germans with the self-government of the Jewish prisoner population. Today it is set up as a museum about (cultural) life in the ghetto.
