Theresienstadt Mortuary and Columbarium

This was where the mortuary for prisoners who had died in the Theresienstadt ghetto was located from 1942. Here were also the ceremonial rooms. The urns of cremated victims were deposited in the columbarium. The hearse exhibited here brought the deceased from the ghetto to this location.
