On the Route de Blénod, just past the Lorraine Machines Hôtelières (factory of professional kitchen and refrigeration equipment), a narrow access road runs on the left to house number 6, built on a bunker.
The massive concrete bunker was built in 1917, two French railway guns with a caliber of 34 cm "Marie-Madeleine" and "Mireille" took alternate cover there.
There was a branch here before the main track that led directly to the protective railway line. These guns were deployed, among other things, in the important German fortress area and the Metz traffic junction.
The railway gun "Mireille" is said to have participated in the American offensive in September 1918 with long-range fire.
