Monument Executed Resistance Fighters Quatre Vents

This is where three resistance fighters were executed by the German Gestapo on 1 September 1944.
FORGET Jules, corporal 4th Chasseurs Ardennais, member of the resistance group MNB (Mouvement National Belge). He was arrested on 13 July 1944 and sentenced to death for espionage.
GILLET Gustave, soldier 2nd Chasseurs Ardennais, member of the resistance group Front de l'Indépendance. He was arrested on 21 June 1944 and sentenced to death for espionage.
PIRNAY Jules, member of the Secret Army. He was arrested on 4 August 1944 and sentenced to death for membership of the Resistance.

The monument can be reached via the road leading to the Arlon Camping.
