Memorial Complex Victims World War II Tartu

Memorial complex for those killed in World War II, at Raadi Park by Lake Raadi, in the city of Tartu. The granite memorial was opened on December 29, 1975. It was built on the basis of a design selected from 13 works submitted to the competition.
It is dedicated to the 2,069 Soviet fighters killed in the battles of Tartu between 1941 and 1944. The authors of the memorial were the estonian sculptor Ants Mölder from Lõetsa and the Tallinn's architect
