Stumbling stone resistance fighter Arthur Van Roy Turnhout

This small brass plaque (Stolpersteine or trip stones), laid here on 12-5-2024 commemorates: Arthur Van Roy.

Van Roy was a member of the resistance movement the Belgian National Movement (BNB).
He was arrested on Feb. 17, 1944, and was murdered in the Flossenburg concentration camp in March 1945.
