Memorial Brigade de Languedoc Huningue

Memorial in honor of the soldiers of the Brigade du Languedoc - 80th R.I. who fell for the liberation of Huningue.
The memorial stands just next to the old canal on the banks of the Rhine. It is a marble slab held by a steel structure.
The plate shows the coat of arms of Huningue and the emblem of the 80th Infantry Regiment.

Below that is the text:
"In memory
to the volunteer fighters
of the
Brigade du Languedoc – 80th RI -
who died for the liberation
of Huningue
November 30, 1944 - April 24, 1945
Passerby, remember"
