Grave Hero of the Soviet Union B. O. Pushkin

This grave contains the remains of the Commander and Hero of the Soviet Union Bychok Oleh Pushkin. Pushkin served in the Red Army from 1940 and was active as partisan from September 1941. His unit destroyed and damaged 113 locomotives, 742 cars, 49 army vehicles (including tanks), 1 airplane, more than 4 kilometers road, 23 bridges, 4 plants and 11 warehouses. Commander B.O. Pushkin was killed during a regular sabotage mission on 4 May 1944 and was reburied in his home town, Bobrovytsia, after the war.
