Memorial Cemetery Toledo

A terrace was constructed on a lawn on the edge of the Nuestra Senora del Sagrario cemetery on which a new monument to the Spanish Civil War stands.

There is a memorial plaque on the hexagonal column:
"This project around patio 42
a more dignified appearance
to be given has been carried out
by unanimous vote
of the entire
city council (19-07-2007).
In recognition of
those who have been victimized
of the Spanish Civil War
and those who have
suffered from repression
of the authoritarian regime
from Franco.
Toledo February 17, 2011."
