Plaque mounted on the outside of what was previously Masham Railway Station.

"Masham Station,
In gratitude and commemoration of
'The Leeds Pals'
15th (Service) Battalion (1st Leeds) The
Prince of Wale's Own West Yorkshire Regiment.
The 'Pals' arrived here 25th September 1914
before marching to Colsterdale to undertake
training for the First World War.
Many gave the ultimate sacrifice
'We will Remember them' "
