French War Grave Langelle Lourdes

The new cemetery of Langelle contains the war grave of Sergeant Pierre LAIGLE.
The grave slab contains the following text:

"Sergeant Pierre LAIGLE (1913-1944)
French Campaign 1939-40
Prisoner, escaped from Sweden and joined in 1942
in London at the F.F.I. of General de Gaulle.
He was admitted to the 2nd D.B. of General Leclerc
and participated in all campaigns.
Killed on his tank during action on August 25, 1944
during the liberation of Paris.
He gave body and soul to France for the ultimate sacrifice. "
