The National Museum of Bermuda is housed in the former Royal Navy Dockyard buildings of the Keep and Commissioner's House surrounded by the bastions, ramparts and casements of the dockyard defences.
Exhibits relating to Bermuda's defence and fortifications since 1612 are displayed including WW1 and WW2, with British, American, Canadian Forces and local Defence regiments represented Rolls of Honour are displayed for those who served and gave their lives in both World Wars. There is a particular display on the connection between the Bermuda Volunteer Rifle Corps and the Lincolnshire Regiment during WW1. Exhibitions of equipment used by serviceman are displayed.
The museum also houses displays on shipwrecks, slavery, immigration and tourism
