Memorial 1944 Mooslargue
From November 14, 1944, the Allied troops launched a general offensive towards Alsace.
The 9th DIC (Colonial Infantry Division), belonging to the 1st French Army that landed in Provence on August 15, liberated the very first Alsatian village: it is the municipality of Seppois that will have this honor on November 19.
Mooslargue and Niederlarg were surrendered simultaneously.
