Partisan War Cemetary Korçë

Buried in this cemetery are the women and men who fought from the mountains near Korçë between 1939 and 1944 against the Italian and German occupiers and lost their lives.

A monument of a partisan with a clenched fist and in his other hand a rifle recalls this period.

The text on the monument reads:
"Lavdi Deshmoreve Atdheut".
"Glory to the Martyrs of the Motherland"
