Maginot Line Battery Breitenhag Open Bedding W

This is one of two gun emplacements flanking the command shelter and ammunition storage. The guns used were 240 mm. The entire complex was connected by a narrow-gauge railway system. The battery carried out shelling in early 1940. At the start of Fall Braun or Kleiner Bär on June 15, 1940, the battery had already been evacuated.
