Missing Grave Arteil Auguste Esnes-en-Argonne

After several battles, Auguste was involved in the fighting around Verdun April/May 1916.
He was killed on 7 May, found and identified five months later. He was buried on the spot. The grave has never been recovered.

His name appears on the monuments in his hometown of Saint-Martin-de-Lamps.
