Cross of Reconciliation for all the fallen in the Argonne Offensive.
The cross was unveiled in 1973 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Élysée Treaty, also known as the Treaty of Friendship. This treaty was signed by German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer and French President Charles de Gaulle at the Élysée Palace in Paris on 22 January 1963 to seal the friendship between France and Germany.
