Together with her husband, she inherited a factory from her parents in 1931 that produced chemical products for the textile industry.
Everything went well until 1933, when their company became the first victim of the Nazi terror against Jewish businesses in Augsburg. Under duress, they were forced to sign a contract that transferred their company to members of the Nazi Party. In addition, a criminal case was opened against them on the basis of defamation to further ruin them.
In 1935 they decided to go into hiding in Munich where they lived in appalling conditions. After her husband's death in 1937, she lived in one room until she was taken to a camp in Munich-Milbertshofen in December 1941.
In 1942 she was deported to Theresienstadt. In both camps she lived in appalling conditions, exposed to famine and contagious diseases, until she died in January 1944.
