The war memorial is integrated into the wall of the cemetery at the St. Peter and Paul Church. Two plaques are dedicated to those who died in the war of 1870-1871, the texts are almost no longer legible.
On the sides of the monument are the names of those who died in the First World War per year of the war.
On the street side of the wall hangs a "Mahn- und Erinnerungs" table, fitting and clearly visible.
"We respect and appreciate the
victims of violence in our country.
We respect and appreciate all children, women, men,
who were exterminated because of their "unworthy lives".
We respect and appreciate all people from foreign lands
and from our community, that physical torment,
fear, abandonment, contempt and betrayal.
We respect and appreciate all families
who were threatened, separated and expelled by death.
We respect and appreciate all people
who have resisted violence at the risk of imprisonment,
persecution or destruction of their own lives.
We are looking at you… "
