Maria Statue Kolenstraat

Maria from the rubble Kolenstraat Venlo.
There is a small niche with a statue of Mary on Kolenstraat in Venlo. This street and the surrounding area were bombed by the American Air Force in October and November 1944. The original target, the Maas Bridge between Venlo and Blerick, was also disabled, but there was a lot of additional damage.
