These small brass plaques (Stolpersteine or stumbling stones), placed on 6-6-2024, commemorate:

Rudolf Bos, born 1904, deported on 6-7-1943 from Westerbork to Sobibor and murdered there on 9-7-1943.
Elisa Bos- Goedhard, born 1905, deported on 6-7-1943 from Westerbork to Sobibor and murdered there on 9-7-1943.
Jacob Bos, born 1931, deported on 6-7-1943 from Westerbork to Sobibor and murdered there on 9-7-1943.
Reina Bos, born 1932 deported on 6-7-1943 from Westerbork to Sobibor and murdered there on 9-7-1943.
Mina Frommet Bos-Ehrenreich, born 1865, deported on 7-9-1943 from Westerbork to Auschwitz and murdered there on 10-9-1943.
Lena Bos, born 1897, deported on 8-6-1943 from Westerbork to Sobibor and murdered there on 11-6-1943.
Sophia Bos, born 1900, deported on 29-6-1943 from Westerbork to Sobibor and murdered there on 2-7-1943.

"Stolpersteine" is an art project for Europe by Gunter Demnig to commemorate victims of National Socialism (Nazism). Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) are small, 10x10cm brass plaques placed in the pavement in front of a residence of (mostly Jewish) victims who were murdered by the Nazis. Each plaque is engraved with the victim’s name, date of birth, and place (mostly a Concentration Camp) and date of death. By doing this, Gunter Demnig gives an individual memorial to each victim. One stone, one name, one person. He cites the Talmud: "A human being is forgotten only when his or her name is forgotten."
