Commemorative Plaque Last Reunion 44th Reg. Inf. Ochten

At the corner of 44 R.I. street and Molendbaan is a plaque commemorating the 30th and last reunion of the 44th Infantry Regiment on 10 May 1975. The 44th Infantry Regiment under the command of Colonel G.D.E.J. Hotz defended the Ochten positions against the invasion of German shock troops during the May days of 1940.
