Memorial of Glory Almaty

The Memorial of Glory is a memorial complex, which was built in 1975 in the 28 Panfilov Park.

The monument to those who died in the Great Patriotic War was erected in the village of Karatobe on the eve of the 40th anniversary of the victory. It was dedicated to those who did not return from the war. The area of the park around the monument is 1.5 hectares. The memorial consists of a composition in the form of a guard band (three semicircles, connecting each other), which visualizes the image of the yurt. In the center is the image of a red star, the place where the flame of the eternal flame will be lit.
