NSB Office Hengelo
During the German occupation, the office of the NSB District Overijssel was located in this building. The Regional Quarter of the Twente-Salland Region and the County were also located here. The region was part of the National Youth Storm and included the following sections:
Almelo, Enschede, Hameland (Borculo), Oldenzaal, Hengelo, Kampen, Ommen, Oude IJssel, N.O. Hoek Overijssel, Steenwijk, Winterswijk, Zutphen, Zwolle, Deventer.
The regional leader was Hoofdstamheer F. Groneman.
It was also the correspondence address of the NSB Representative of Overijssel.
