Serbian Memorial Gouvia

This monument was erected in memory of the Serbian soldiers who landed in this port of Gouvia on Corfu in the period from January 6, 1916 to April 5, 1916, during the withdrawal of the Serbian army from Albania.

During this period, approximately 120,000 Serbian soldiers came to Corfu.
