Casemate Peel-Raamstelling S (3a) 409
This casemate was built in the period 1939-1940 and is located directly south of the place where the Defense Canal crosses the Deurneseweg. The Deurneseweg connects Oploo, the Rips and Deurne, among others. The casemate was able to fire frontally on the Deurneseweg via the middle embrasure hole. The casemate is in good condition and has no war damage.
