Cycling Route Maashees - Emergency housing

At the beginning of March 1945, the residents were given permission to return to their beloved village. They found only desolation.
People had to rely on whatever form of housing was available, such as barns and stables.
After the war, so-called emergency homes were built in Maashees and the surrounding area using the stones from the destroyed houses.
