Fort Scratchley Museum

Housed in the former barracks of Fort Scratchley is a museum describing the military history of Newcastle and Fort Scratchley. Exhibits detail the story of the Fort and in particular the shelling of Newcastle on 8 June 1942 by the Japanese submarine I-21.
The museum also contains 'Roll of Honour' boards from organisations in Newcastle who are no longer in existence.
