Kent War Memorial Garden

The Kent War Memorial Garden is located in the immediate vicinity of Canterbury Cathedral. This enclosed park is an oasis of peace and is beautifully landscaped. The gate that provides access has a plaque on the right side of the wall dedicated to George Robbert Canning, the 4th Lord Harris, whose contribution to the realization of this garden is honoured. The garden is designed in memory of those who died during the First and Second World Wars. It is a square green area on the east side of the cathedral area that is enclosed by a stone wall. The Memorial Garden offers beautiful views of Canterbury Cathedral from the east.
