Memorial Manuel Delatte

On the facade of Engis City Hall, a special plaque has been attached for City Clerk Manuel Delatte.

He was already active as a war volunteer during the 1st World War, and during the 2nd World War, reserve Captain-Commander in the 7th Regiment Hunters on Foot.

He died on May 26th, 1940 at Adegem (East Flanders) at the age of 50. He is buried in the Chokier cemetery at Flémalle-Haute.
