War Memorial Hermalle-sous-Huy

Against the church of Hermalle-sous-Huy is a monument commemorating the soldiers coming from Hermalle-sous-Huy and died during Worldwar I ore II.

BERNIER Hubert, age 20, soldier with the 12th Line Regiment, killed on August 6th, 1914 in the fierce fighting at Queue-du-Bois. (On the 2nd day of the war for Belgium).

THIRION Emile, age 27, soldier with the 14th linieregiment, killed on October 24th, 1914 at Saint-Joris (Nieuwpoort).
