Elspeet Historical Museum

In the Elspeet Historical Museum, a partial exhibition is organised every year in the months of April and May in relation to the commemoration of the dead and liberation on the theme Elspeet in the war. This also involves three primary schools.

Although things remained relatively quiet in Elspeet during the Second World War, this war also left its mark here. Mobilisation and the outbreak of war, compulsory work in Germany, crashed planes, people in hiding, raids, the liberation, it is all etched in the memories of the older generation.
