Tombstones Nicolaas en Koop Houwer

Between the farm and the museum are the original gravestones of father Nicolaas- and son Koop Houwer. These were in Diever cemetery until 2002 but were then replaced by War Graves Foundation headstones.

Nicolaas and Koop Houwer, together with eight other men, were executed by the Germans on 10 April 1945, just days before liberation.
