Belgian War Graves Villers-le-Gambon

The cemetery of Villers-le-Gambon contains one war grave from the First and one from the Second World War.

Emile PIQUIN died for his country in Soltau on April 8, 1915.
During the First World War, Friedrichseck near Soltau was the largest prisoner of war camp in Germany, where more than ten thousand Belgian and French soldiers were held as prisoners of war.

Jean DUCOFFRE, died in captivity on April 25, 1945 in the prisoner of war camp STALAG 1A in Rostock.
