Belgian War Graves Romedenne

On August 25, 1914, the Germans invaded Romedenne, the village was burned down and 11 civilians were murdered. The old cemetery contains the grave of Emile COLLARD, 76 years old one of the civilians shot dead at Romedenne station.
The second war grave is that of Jean FOQUET, soldier 2nd class Motorcyclist. He is said to have died of an illness in the Porte de Gravelines military hospital in Calais on October 19, 1918.
