Boscombe Down Aviation Museum

The museum has a large collection of aircraft. It is unique in that visitors have access to many of the cockpits. There is a replica cockpit section of an Avro Lancaster. The metal construction of this is new, but all instruments and controls are original. The museum also has an extensive exhibition on military aviation during the First World War.

Please note: the museum is not located at the active Boscombe Down airfield, but at the nearby Old Sarum airfield.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
