Belgian War Grave Romerée
The war grave of Marcel GOFFIN is located at the municipal cemetery of Romerée. He was active in the 1st Brigade Border Cyclists.
He was killed on May 24, 1940 in Hulste (Harelbeke) in a joint attempt with the 12th Line to recapture lost positions on the Leie near Leiehoek (Kuurne) from the Germans during the Battle of the Leie.
