Ferme d’En Bas in Ligny is an historical site for its role in the Battle of Ligny, which took place on 16 June 1815. This battle was Napoleon's last victory before his defeat at Waterloo.
On the facade there is a memorial plaque surmounted by an eagle, surrounded by the dates 1815 and 1965 with the following inscription:
« Ferme d’En-Bas.
