Residence Ortskommandant Pluvierlaan 5 Eindhoven

In 1940 the Jewish family Matthias Elias lived here; they fled in time.

The German Ortskommandant settled here.
There have been several "Ortskommandants" in Eindhoven:
1. Dr. Meier, Hauptmann until the end of May 1940.
2. Leutnant Ritter of the Luftwaffe until the end of July 1940.
3. Leutnant Walliser until 28 August 1940.
4. Oberleutnant Sündermann until 18 September 1940.
5. Major Klapp until 1 October 1943.
6. Hauptmann Schuurmann until September 1944.
