The Jewish Elias family fled in time in 1940; the house was used during the Second World War by the Gestapo, the Reichs Luftfahrt Ministerium (RLM) and the staff of the Oberkommando Wehrmacht and the Gestapo SS-Untersturmführer Warnecke
From June 1943 it was used by a section of the Grüne Polizei, led by Major Wolk.
12 September 1944: "The Eddy group attacked the Grüne (Polizei) on Parklaan. There was a firefight, but our people got in each other's way in the pitch dark: I believe they captured a carbine and... one rifle, which was already ours. But at least it's something."
On 24 September, the Landwacht archives were removed from the building and stored.
