Memorials Trou-de-Bra

At the Chapel l'Assomption de la Vierge of Trou-de-Bra, there are two commemorative plaques.

Commemorated outside the church;

DETAILLE Joseph Victor, age 21, soldier in the 12th line regiment, from Bra, died of his wounds in the military hospital 'Marialei' in Antwerp on Sept. 1st, 1914. He is buried in the Schoonselhof military cemetery in Antwerp.

Inside the chapel is commemorated

WESEMAEL van Frans. age 29, Chaplain of the parish of Trou-de-Bra from April 23rd, 1943 to September 2nd, 1944. On September 4th, 1944, he was executed with three others by the German army in the forest of Tapeu at Amermont, Stavelot.
